Marcia Gail Thomas Crask

Marcia Gail “Thomas” Crask, 71 of Athens, Alabama, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Crask was born May 29, 1946 in Pleasureville, KY, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Athens and she was a homemaker. Survivors: Husband: Garnett Earl Crask of Athens; Daughter: Dionna Akemon of Hazard, KY; Sons: Kelley Crask of Rainbow City, AL and Lt. Col. Shane Crask of Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Sydney Whitacker, Rudy Akemon, Michael Crask, Parker Crask, Rachel Crask and Ethan Crask; two great-grandchildren, and nephew: Richard Crask.

She was preceded in death by her father: Cash Reed Thomas; her mother: Nell Thomas; and a sister: Carolyn Thomas.

Local services will be held 12 p.m (noon) Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Joel Carwile and Rev. Larry Hicks will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
