Robert Corey Broughton

Robert Corey Broughton, age 33, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 21, 1985 in Shelbyville. He worked as a service technician for Broughton Heating and Cooling, and was a U.S. Army Reserve Veteran.

He is survived by parents: Anthony Glenn Broughton and Patricia Broughton of Bethlehem; mother: Sharon DaLynn Jackson, Shelbyville; one son: Benjamin Anthony Broughton of Elkhart, Indiana; grandfather: Donald Ray Bowman; brothers: Sam Robinson, Donald Austin Broughton, and Timothy Houston Broughton; sisters: Tiffany Phillips and Tabitha Candace Broughton; aunts: Becky Fisher and Mary Ellen Spencer; uncles: Brad Bowman, Jeff Watts, and Hargus Spencer; cousin: April Raisor, and several nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 and from 10:30 a.m. until time of the services on Tuesday, when family and friends will have the opportunity to share memories of his life. Cremation will follow funeral services.
