Anna Beatrice Quire

Anna Beatrice Quire, age 89 of Madison, Indiana, died Monday, November 9, 2020, at The Waters of Clifty Falls. She was born in Defoe on October 9, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Gilbert Bohannon and Lillie Dowden Bohannon. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Madison.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alan “Pete” Boyd Quire, her brother, Frank Bohannon and her sister, Loretta Jones.

She is survived by two sons: Danny Dale Quire (Edna) of Frankfort and Robert Alan Quire of Madison, Indiana; two daughters: Dianna Carpenter of Frankfort and Janet Mae Lewis (Roger) of Worthville; one brother: Donald Bohannon (Shirley) of Eminence; one sister: Mary Belle Gibson of Payne, Ohio; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Jay Edington will officiate. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 until time of services. Burial will be in Defoe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Quire, John Carpenter, Ezra Lewis, Isaiah Lewis and Jason Quire.
