Billy Ray Brewer

Billy Ray Brewer, age 77, of Frankfort, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Frankfort on January 11, 1939. He was a farmer and was retired from Three Chimneys Thoroughbred Farm.

He is survived by his daughter: Linda Sue Brewer of Frankfort; one brother: Herman Moore (Helen) of Eminence; one sister: Alice Smith (Queenie) of Bethlehem; two grandchildren: Jeremy Carmack of Elmburg and Justin Carmack of Frankfort; two great-grandchildren: Tristin and Addison Carmack; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Lucy Stella Stivers Brewer; and a brother: Curtis Moore.

A memorial gathering of family and friends is scheduled for 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. A private burial will be held at a later date.
