Cheryl Gardner Giles

Cheryl Marie Gardner Giles, age 74 of Pleasureville, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at Norton Women and Children’s Hospital in Louisville. She was born April 15, 1947 to the late Garnett Lee Gardner and Helen M. Cain Gardner. She retired from Suburban Hospital as a registered nurse, and was a member of Cropper Baptist Church.

Survivors are her two sons: Toby Patrick Giles (Dawn) of Pleasureville and Keith Allen Tipton of Ft. Myers, Florida; two brothers: Garnett Gardner Jr. of Tennessee and Raymond Gardner (Ann) of Louisville; one sister: Betty Sue Boehm (Edward) of Jeffersontown; and four grandchildren: Madison Tipton, Savannah Tipton, Austin Giles and Cooper Giles.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Dennis Giles; one son: Dennis Michael Giles; three brothers: Billy Gardner, Harold Ray Gardner and Phillip Gordon Gardner and one sister: Ruby Mae Payton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the residence of Dennis and Cheryl Giles (1304 Pleasureville Road, Pleasureville, Kentucky 40057) at 2 P.M. Michael Austin Giles will officiate. Arrangements by Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville.
