Christy Beasley Carmickle

Christy Jill Beasley Carmickle, age 43, of Defoe, died Saturday, August 6, 2016, at her residence. She was born June 3, 1973 in Shelbyville, and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Defoe Christian Church and a former member of Pleasureville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Charles (Chuck) Carmickle of Defoe; her father: Jerry Beasley (Nancy) of Defoe; her mother: Rita Louise Rucker of Defoe; three sons: Kristian Fitzgerald of Defoe, Joshua Kalab Thomas of Defoe; and Brandon Carmickle (Kendra) of Lawrenceburg; two daughters: Amber Jenkins (Chuckie) of Lawrenceburg and Sarah Carmickle of Lawrenceburg; one brother: Jesse Calette of LaGrange; one sister: Traci Barr of Hatton; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2016, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Jerry Anderson and Coleman Colson will officiate. Burial will be in Defoe Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 and from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
