Deborah Carol Corley

Deborah Carol Corley, age 48, of Pleasureville, died Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Louisville. She was born January 31, 1970, in Shelbyville. She was a homemaker and served for many years as an Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter for the Pleasureville Fire Department. She was a member of Crossroads Lighthouse Church in Eminence.

She is survived by her parents: Everett Leon Barnett of Shelbyville and Carolyn Gilbert Barnett of Pleasureville; two sons: Daniel Corley (Sarah) of Shelbyville, and Andrew Corley of Smithfield; two brothers: Brian Barnett and Dwayne Barnett, both of Pleasureville; two stepbrothers: Kinman Barnett (Jan) of Shelbyville, and Terry Barnett (Lori) of Louisville; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother: Donzetta Barnett; stepbrother: Dale Barrett; two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Nathan Shaw and Rev. Paul Harvey will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018, and after 10 a.m. the day of the services. Burial will be in Cropper Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Brian Barnett, Dwayne Barnett, Donald Corley, Matt Woods, Martin Washburn, and Joe Bastin. Active pallbearers are Daniel Corley, Andrew Corley, William Peach, Cody Redmond, Trenton Barnett, and Cameron Barnett.
