Earl Benton Powell, age 64 of Sulphur Earl Benton Powell, age 64 of Sulphur died Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born in Sulphur and was the son of the late Joe and Lucy Carr Powell. He was a truck driver and worked in the agricultural industry. He is survived by his wife: Kathy Powell of Sulphur; his daughter: Sarah Templeton (Jeff) of Sulphur; his brother: Allen Powell (Leeann) of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Nick Coleman officiating. Interment in the Sulphur Cemetery. Visitation after 5 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2012. Casket bearers will be Scott Burrows, Donnie Callis, Brov Draque, Dallas Drury, Tommy Hardin, and Ben Willhite.
