HELEN ROBERTS, age 94, formerly of Pleasureville, KY Helen Roberts, age 94, formerly of Pleasureville passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Crestview Care and Rehabilitation Center in Shelbyville. Born in Shelby County, she was the former Helen Byers, a homemaker, a graduate of Pleasureville High School, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bethlehem, KY, and a former member of Henry County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husband Julian G. Roberts. She is survived by her son Julian P. Roberts (Ruth Ann) and her daughter Mary Jane Kephart (Joey), five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and two sisters, Martha Lee Byers and Betty Margaret Shaw. Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday March 30, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Brother Delbert Butts and Brother Travis Sheehan officiating. Burial will be Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Sholar Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2727 Bethlehem Road, Bethlehem, KY. Honorary pallbearers include Edith Owen, Zada Ray Moore, Corella Stivers, Nell Pollard, Aline Stivers, Peggy Long, Bill Pollard, and Leslie Bailey. Active bearers include Timmy Moore, Tim Moore, Mark Roberts, Jacob Kephart, Chris Hayden, Troy Kuhl, Jeremy Chilton, and Austin Roberts.
