John Thomas Beutel

John Thomas Beutel, age 80 of Pleasureville died April 3, 2020 at his daughter’s residence. He was born February 4, 1940 to the late Madison Thomas Beutel and Ellen Ashburn Beutel. He was retired from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet where he worked as a mechanic, and also was a self-employed mechanic.

He is survived by his wife: Ruby Carole Abbott Beutel of Pleasureville; two daughters: Linda Jo Beutel-Wells of Pleasureville and Lisa Goecke (Joey) of Lexington: six grandchildren: Amanda-Price Nichols, Daniel Walker, Jacob Walker, Claire Goecke, Dustin Wells, and Ethan Goecke; three great-grandchildren: Hunter Nichols, Camden Walker, and Jaxon Nichols; and family member: David “Dino” Wells.

Private graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Point Pleasant Cemetery with interment to follow.

Pallbearers include David “Dino” Wells, Dustin Wells, Daniel Walker, Jacob Walker, Joey Goecke, and Ethan Goecke.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Hosparus of Louisville in John's memory.
