Joyce Jane Aldridge Henry

Joyce Jane Aldridge Henry, age 73 of Pleasureville, died Friday, December 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born April 18, 1946 in Lockport to the late Loyd Aldridge and Irene Clark Roberts Aldridge. She was a housewife and a member of Eminence Christian Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Ruby Jolly of Pleasureville and Elizabeth Thompson (Larry) of Louisville; one brother: Stanley Aldridge of Ashland City, Tennessee; two sisters: Rosetta Downey of Pleasureville and Charlotte Davis of Monticello; two grandchildren: Ashley Wentworth (Michael) of Louisville and Suzanne Jane Woosley of Pleasureville; and four great-grandchildren: Teresa Woosley, Haley Wentworth, Dakota Woosley, and Shanaoh Ann Woosley.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley B. Henry, a granddaughter, Joanna Lynn Wentworth, and sisters, Catherine Fisher and Anna Stivers.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Sholar Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Minton will officiate. Burial will be in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Downey, Tyler Downey, James McClain, Michael Smith, Phillip Thurmond, and Homer Aldridge.
