Karen Bright Bohannon, age 63 of Pleasureville, KY Karen Bright Bohannon, age 63 of Pleasureville, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Defoe and was the daughter of the late Elbert Bright, Sr. and Nellie Wheeler Bright. She was retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Transportation. She is survived by her husband: Robert Thomas Bohannon of Pleasureville; one son: Charles Logan Barnett (Christina) of Pleasureville; one daughter: Betty Gayle Couch of Frankfort; one sister: Dixie Moore of Eminence; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev Michael Fitzgerald, pastor of Sulphur Baptist Church, is to officiate. Interment will be in Defoe Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014.
