Lillard "Pete" Adams

Lillard “Pete” Adams, age 83, of Frankfort, KY passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, peacefully at his home, with Hospice care. He was born on November 21, 1938, in Versailles, KY, the son of Fred and Maggie Mae Troxell Adams. Pete was a member of Orville Baptist Church, was retired from the Kentucky State Transportation Department and was a former bus driver for Henry County Public Schools. He loved to fish, hunt and was a gun and knife collector.

He is survived by his significant other, the love of his life; Sharon Brewer of Frankfort, KY, one aunt; Ella Troxell of Frankfort, KY and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife; Shirley Ann Adams (2010).

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 21, 2022, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Rev. David Rayborn officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Grub Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Ragle, Jerry Cody, James Underwood, Cole Gregory, Dewayne Suiter, Chester Terrell, Chuck Mutchler and Mike Schrader.
