Linda Lee Downey

Linda Lee Downey, age 53 of Pleasureville, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Baptist Health in LaGrange. She was born in Carrollton, and worked at Eminence Speaker. She is survived by three sons: Clarence Dean Tingle (Jill), Alan Bond and Brent Bond, all of Pleasureville; her mother: Bertha Chadwell (Calvin) of New Castle; one brother: Larry Baxter (Valerie) of Chestnut Grove; one sister: Brenda Kelley (Dwayne) of Chestnut Grove; two grandchildren: Kayla Tingle and Abby Tingle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Baxter. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville, officiated by Rev. Jerry Anderson, pastor of Pleasureville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Port Royal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 and from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
