Mary Lee Burgin Preston

Mary Lee Burgin Preston, age 76 of Pleasureville died November 9, 2021 at her home. She was born on December 4, 1944 to the late Ben Thomas Burgin and Mary E. Frazier Burgin. She was a homemaker and farmer and a member of Crossroads Lighthouse Church in Eminence.

Mary is survived by her husband: Harvey Preston Sr.; two sons: Greg Preston (Sally) of Pleasureville and Carl Preston (Marion) of Pendleton; two daughters: Becky Long (Wayne) of Smithfield and Libby Raisor of Pleasureville; three brothers: George Burgin (Donna) of Eminence, James Burgin of Carrollton and Vernon “Beetles” Burgin of Milton; three sisters: Carolyn Warfield of Carrollton, Loretta Hanley of New Castle and Louise McIntosh of Bedford; and several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Dale Preston and Harvey Preston Jr.; two brothers: Virgil Burgin and Henry Burgin and one granddaughter: Paulina Raisor.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Bro. Nathan Shaw and Bro. Paul Harvey will officiate. Burial will be at Point Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday.

Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Preston, Joseph Raisor, Dylan Preston, Jeremiah Long, Benjamin Long, Matthew Long and Gregory Preston. Active pallbearers will be Jason Preston, Michael Long, Brandon Preston, Travis Preston, Nathaniel Long and Brent Raisor.
