MAURICE HAMPTON SCHOOLER, age 96 of Louisville, KY Maurice Hampton Schooler, age 96 of Louisville, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Jefferson Place in Louisville. He was born in Eminence and was the son of the late A.B. Schooler and Bessie Kelly Schooler. He was a retired pastor and tax accountant. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Schooler. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday January 20, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home in Pleasureville. Rev. Buddy Coleman, pastor of Middletown United Methodist Church, and Rev. Jimmy Powell, from Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, will officiate. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children & Youth, P.O. Box 749, Versailles, KY 40383.
