Nora Priddy Smith

Nora Priddy Smith, age 92 of Franklinton, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born in Brownsville and was the daughter of the late Claude Priddy and Roberta Wilson Priddy. She had worked at General Electric in Louisville and was a member of Franklinton Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter: Tammy Smithson (Steve) of Eminence; two sons: Larry H. Smith (Judy) of Jonesboro, AR and Bill Smith (Joyce) of Franklinton; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Harold Smith in 1998. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Jacky Newton, pastor of Franklinton Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Franklinton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014.
