Raymond Lee Washburn, age 88 of New Castle died April 14, 2020 at New Castle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 13, 1931 near Bethlehem to the late Ed and Daisy Adler Washburn. He was a farmer and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by one brother: Alvin Carter Washburn; three sisters: Edith Washburn, Annie Tingle, and Flossie Washburn.
He is survived by four nephews: David Tingle (Nathy), Donald Tingle (Donna), Eddie Washburn (Bonnie), and Darrell Washburn; one niece: Denise Washburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Pleasureville Cemetery with interment following.
Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville is in charge of arrangements.
