Steven Myers Lynn

Steven Myers Lynn, age 60 of New Castle, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at Baptist Health Park Towers in Louisville. He was born in Louisville on January 14, 1955 and was the son of the late Jimmie Myers Lynn and Judy Nell McNeese Lynn. He was a Correctional Officer at the Kentucky State Reformatory in LaGrange and a member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church in Russell Springs. He is survived by his wife: Ethel Lee Lynn of New Castle; two sons: Steven Anthony Lynn of Leitchfield, and Leonard Preston Newman of New Castle; one daughter: Alice Winters (Alva) of Pleasureville; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a step-daughter, Estella Faye Chapman. Cremation was chosen and a private memorial service will be held at a later date at Cropper Cemetery.
