William (Bill) Hershel Wilkerson

William (Bill) Hershel Wilkerson, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Wilkerson and his wife, Naomi Bohannon Wilkerson.

He is survived by his children: Joe Wilkerson (Diane) of Cincinnati; and Janice Wilkerson of Lakeside Park, Kentucky; and his granddaughter: Amy Wilkerson of Cincinnati.

He was a lifelong member of Union Baptist Church, was retired from General Electric as a manager of Inventory, volunteered for Mended Hearts after his own bypass surgery, loved playing golf, all things UK Wildcats, and bragging about his children and granddaughter.

Pallbearers are: Paul Hill, Daryl Kemper, Wayne Rucker, Joe Sams, Terry Sams, and Stacey Stivers.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Bob Litton will officiate. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of services on Sunday. Burial will be in Defoe Cemetery.
