William M. (Bill) Johnson, age 81, of Shelbyville William M. (Bill) Johnson, age 81, of Shelbyville, formerly of Pleasureville, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Shelbyville. He was born in Louisville, and was the son of the late Rexford Johnson and Arthur Pearl Willhite Johnson. He was a Truck Driver for Local 89 and was a beloved country-music singer in the local area. He is survived by his wife: Annie M. Walker Johnson of Shelbyville; two sons: William M. Johnson, Jr. of New Albany, Indiana and Arthur Wayne Johnson (Debbie) of Louisville; five daughters: Brenda Sue Jenkins of New Albany, Indiana, Linda Ruth Bolin of Louisville, Shirley Jean Dake (J.D) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Janet Lee Newman (Jack) of Tamarac, Florida, and Debra Ann Golden of Eminence; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Todd Sprouse officiating. Interment in Pleasureville Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers include Chilion Golden and Jerry Young. Active pallbearers include Andy Golden, Billy Johnson, Cody Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Fred Tedescucci, and Brenda Young.
